BMW Z4 2009 Outlook Review.

Its that year again where, time moves on and thats when the BMW Z4 comes in the picture. Its been quite a while from posting on this site, and Z4 would certainly be one of the hottest thing to talk about after economy recessions came along if BMW would be producing the next generation replacing Z4 or not. As for the previous Z4, it was a roadster that was replaced the Z3.

Now lets get serious into this topic. BMW designs have really and certainly changed in the past 1 year eversince the new BMW 7 series was introduced, in part of that , it was also a cause of that Top Head chief designer Chris Bangle left. Through that, they had a total new outlook on the design surface. To the BMW Z4, it certainly look more matured from the previous ones, which evoluted into what today's Z4 is like. The new Z4 is by slight bigger than the previous Z4 which made it look more muscular and aggressive. As the flame surfing idea was also brought out in the design, really did made it look that good and pleasurable.. In an additional event of that, the BMW z4 won the Red Dot Designs Award for best Automotive Product Design.

Heres a video and some pics to enjoy...

70's Revolution in Datsun

In this Post this time, we speak about the collection of cars that were ever made by Datsun-Nissan from the 70's which is part it was the era where gas guzzlers were murdered and prices started to soar... and by that the Japanese took it by storm ,by having the extra conviniences and practicality in one package.

First up!, the Z of Z cars which started it all the 240Z

It was the legendary in daring to challenge the big boys in the US and the World where everyone was still in huge mode*

It offered one of the best value in money for the package and the reliability for a sports car. Designs and ideas were revalued from the Jaguar XJR which it deffos a worth a buy of a cheaper version.Value, Practicality, Reliability,Economical made the others sounded like a deadly earth killer.

Since it was a real successor like a tiny lady posh mini-cab ,it was revised over the next version the 260Z that resembles you another killer in the bedroom.

Ahh's the 70's , where youd be singing the beegees and dancing to the groove till dawn and where youd be pretty posh if you would be driving one of the 280zx's but not till the Limited Black Gold Version that makes you feel like commiting suicide for not having one desperately.

Owning a Black Gold would have made you special, but seemingly it made you quite a shocker of a life.

After knowing the features, it give you a heart attack to know that it was really advanced of it's time for a sports car to be turned black and gold as a luxury car.
Seriously Shocking
70's was about to end, and the result of the 80's? Simply revised in perfection of building its image.
End results was ratherly a desired car to be own today if you would be able to find one. It was the end of the Datsun range for the Z cars before turning it into Nissan. The 300ZX was very much down to earth, pretty much fun with the car in the era's of turbos.
What took storm of the global Car Market? 70's was the time...

The Answer is a car which took a place of a car that should have been scrapped off for years, and it lived.

Datsun 120Y was the answer to japanese global worldwide market domination today. (B21o ) It tried to be killer to its competitor the Ford Escort.

It seriously was one of its practical and one of its kind which someone would have asked you, if you were driving a horse "No mate, me and my chappies are drivinn in me Datsunny" -

Which indeed it killed the British car industry aswell partly of British Leyland Motors.

Datsun 120Y Sportback Coupe

You'd be driving a sportback in practicality. Was it a seemingly bad joke or that the character was missing? No it was seriously the answer to more economical cars. It was a real Looker too..
The Second Generation totally killed it when it evolved to the squarish design's instead. Performance wise? still maintained it.

Would you be driving in one of it?, JC would rather be taking a pogo stick .

If'd i'd to have a alittle more, I'd Prefer the Coupe"

The Datsun Bluebird SSS was one it's sportier range apart from the Z family. Though it was offered the SSS version rather than the stock, SSS was rather special and different with special features which the rear lamps were to co-ordinate the design language to live up its name,SSS . The rear lamps had the 3 individual brake lamps that made it special with the styling for mixing the lights. The rest are the optional Sedan version which is a part of family like sportyness.
"Does it matters if i'd drive this tiny car? It ain't your Problem"- Most probably being said to some people who doesnt know how to spell the word tiny in the world of compacts. Some like it large, but those prefer small would like taking this... - Datsun 1200/Sunny

Datsun 1200 was one of its model in its range to be turned into a ute or a pickup truck apart from the 1500. Simply this was a much much more affordable car to drive smaller than the rest. Compact but it had just the correct amount of realibilities for asian countries that were building up and developing.
Thats mostly for this review on the Datsun cars. Thanks for reading and the next post would be out probably.

Upcoming Nissan 370Z Design Review

As the Nissan 350Z gets older, it's time for a change in the group of Z cars . The answer for it is the new Nissan 370Z which would debut in 2009 as for the official dateline. Reviews about today, would simply be the radical designs of the new 370Z compared to the old 350Z. In some ways the new 370Z of course has its ups and downs, and there would be critics and fans in the way. The designs thoroughly explains that the new 370Z has a expression in being Retro. The new 370Z is ever shorter than the previous 350Z which makes it hunch 99mm shorter.

The new car’s wheelbase is a whole 99mm shorter than the 350Z - 2550mm versus 2649mm and its also shorter by about 2.7 inches and lower by 0.3 inches. However it’s wider by 1.3 inches and the rear track also increases by 2.2 inches.

Retro would also mean, some parts of the design as been derrived from the older versions like the 240Z. In part of the new design , the coupe roofline, has also been redesigned from the C' Pillars as part of the retro 70's muscle car.. Other than these, the obvious would be the new ideas of the headlights design on the 370Z similarly to the previous 350Z except updated for the 2009 Z range and a more pulled back curve design, which would be common for designers to naturally turn things around. As said there would be unsatisfied parts on this, which would take time to get used to. The 370Z has also been facelifted or just redesigned from the front and rear bumpers , which front bumpers also do come from the previous 350Z idea with some adjusments in curves and ideas. The new 370Z also gets new rims and wheels as the standard wheels are 18 inchers with Yokohama Advan Sport 225/50R18 tyres at the front and a wider 245/45R18 size at the rear. Optional are 19 inch RAYS forged aluminium-alloy wheels wrapped with Bridgestone Potenza RE050A rubber in 245/40R19 and 275/35R19 sizes for the front and rear respectively. In part of it , the interior has also been redesigned with a more better quality built interior materials and design.

Apart from that, the design has mostly a Retro look and theme to it with new ideas in innovation. End of review~
